By the time you have given in your Spring first half term’s literacy unit plans, you will have completed half the year’s planning! You won’t have nearly as much work to do next school year. Isn’t that great news? Why not post a comment on this page about how your literacy units are going?

Today’s work on levelling writing using APP went really well. Hopefully it has given us all a kickstart with APP. Don’t forget to share your levelling with a colleague and remember that Level 1 will be on the standards site in January.

Don’t forget to let me have this half term’s literacy plans as e-copies before next Monday, Hope you’re getting on well with the new framework now. Are you finding loads of new writing opportunities for your class? Blogging is a great way to get them writing! What did you think of Tim Rylands’ visit?
